Thursday, September 15th

Parents,

At approximately 2:55 today, our car line staff noticed helicopters about 3 miles away.  We immediately went on alert and stationed staff members around the perimeter.  By 2:56, we issued a campus lockdown.  All students and faculty were inside a locked building.  By 3:05 the suspect was in custody.

Robin Hill practices a variety of drills on a regular basis.  Today that paid off!  The students and faculty acted promptly to make sure everyone was safe and secure. Our first priority is always your students and their safety. When something happens like this we will lock down before notifying because their safety is our number one priority. Once everyone is in a safe spot, we will always notify our parents.

In the future to protect all of our students, if you as a parent/guardian are on campus during a lockdown or weather related emergency you will be required to follow our school emergency procedures as well. This is nonnegotiable for the safety of all of our families.

We love and appreciate all of our Robin Hill family. Thank you all for your support and input as we are constantly improving.
