Parents-statewide public school cessation of operations
Dear Parents,
Just a bit ago the State Board of Education voted unanimously to approve a statewide public school cessation of operations. Our school buildings will be closed, but we will comply with the SDE and work to provide distance learning for our students. We have begun to formulate a distance learning plan but as you know the guidelines and framework have not yet been set. I know that each individual family has specific hardships and no household is the same. This plan will not be perfect-nor do we expect it to be. Our goal is to work with our students and try to overcome whatever the barrier may be. Our teachers are committed to these students and will do whatever is necessary to guide them thru this very difficult time. I understand how stressful this situation is for our parents. Let me assure you, we will work to make this process as smooth as possible. Our students, staff and administration will adapt during this process.
